ENGRAVING  EQUIPMENT

A quick personal note from Ken Brown...
We have used the same equipment provider for almost 20 years. Their equipment...to my specifications...is the best available anywhere.  When you decide to attend our Ken Brown Engraving Workshop, call and enroll for the class you want to attend.  At that time we'll give you the contact information for the supplier.
There have been numerous upgrades and physical changes in the components of the new systems......though what we provide as loaner systems, with the SAME basic components.  These are set up for our students and are perfect for learning in the Workshop.  Newer systems are somewhat different configuration from what we use here, thus we won't show photographs.  Descriptions below will give you the general information about the full system you should purchase.

THE KEN BROWN PROFESSIONAL ENGRAVING SYSTEM

It's available exclusively through Ken's supplier for many years.  It is the best anywhere and what Ken has used for years.

The Ken Brown Studio sells no equipment whatsoever and STRONGLY ADVISES, for the most dependable, proven equipment out there, that his students use the same basic system components he uses and knows well.

IF YOU ALREADY OWN OR PURCHASE OTHER EQUIPMENT

When students already own similar equipment that is adequate, that's fine.  However, if there are issues with equipment being used for engraving his method, Ken cannot be of any help with equipment other than his system, if you have issues with yours at home.

New students are far wiser to use Ken's system that he can support. Students should purchase the system to arrive at their home PRIOR TO THE WORKSHOP.  You will NOT bring that system to the Ken Brown Workshop.  Ken Brown provides everything except the specific supplies for the class.  Those items are a part of the equipment purchase that you will bring with you to the Workshop.

ANOTHER BRAND OF SIMILAR EQUIPMENT.

Even if you already own a drill, it is advised you purchase the professional-grade unit which is a part of the KEN BROWN PROFESSIONAL ENGRAVING SYSTEM.  If there are issues with another brand of drill when you're working at home, after the Workshop, you're on your own.
